Demonstrator Training Thank You Card Blog Hop-March 2021

Happy March everyone! Boy, this year is  flying by. March is my favorite month, it's my Birthday month and Spring is coming. I love seeing all the  new baby animals and watch the plants come alive. I reminds me of God grace. We may have had a horrible 2020, we get to step away from the old and welcome the new.

It has been a long week and nothing has been black and white (not that it ever is).  So, I thought it would be a great time to make a black and white card. I forget black and white can be stunning. I, also, thought it was a great opportunity to work with the Delicate Petals Bundle as well.

The first thing that popped into my creative head was making a fan with the fan shaped stamp from this set. The fan was very easy to make and  I think the card came out fantastic.

I hope you enjoy this blog and try making the card. Creating this card was a lot of fun.

Thank you for stopping by my blog hop.

Supplies:

1.  Use Basic Black card stock to make the card base. Cut  5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4". Your fold will be at the top (landscape).

2.  Cut a 4 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of WW (Basic White) card stock. Randomly stamp the flowers using Tuxedo Black Ink. Adhere Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon to bottom 1/2". Using Stampin' Seal adhere this piece to the card base.

3. Using Versa Mark stamp five fans onto basic black card stock. Now sprinkle White Embossing Powder onto stamped images. Tap off extra powder, warm up the heat tool for a few seconds and then heat up the embossing powder on the black card stock. The image will turn shinny white when embossing powder is set.  Fussy cut out the fans. Add Mini Dimensionals to the back left hand side of each stamped image (one at the top and one in the middle). Adhere one fan on top of the other (I connected the pieces at the 3rd circle on the fan) until you have a fan. Now using multipurpose glue. glue the bottom of the fan pieces together. You should have a piece that looks like a fan. I placed one dimensional on the back left hand side of the fan and two Dimensionals stacked together on the right hand side of the fan. Place the fan over the ribbon and adhere to card front. I glued the bottom of the fan down with multipurpose glue.

4.  Tie a bow using Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon and glue to the bottom of the fan.

5.  Stamp Thank You For Your Kindness onto a scrap piece of basic black card stock with Versa Mark Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder, tap off extra powder and set with heat tool. Cut out the sentiment with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies using the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. I used mini dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the front of the card. Randomly add three pearls to the sentiment.

6.    For the inside of the card cut a 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" piece of WW (Very White) card stock. Stamp the flowers in the lower left hand corner using Tuxedo Black Ink. Randomly stamp black dots around the flowers. Then stamp the sentiment in the center of the card stock using Tuxedo Black Ink as well.  Adhere this piece to the inside of the card using Stampin' Seal.
