Project Recipe:

1. Using Thick Whisper White (WW) card stock cut your card base at 5 1/2" by 8 1/2." Score at 4 1/4".
   *Very Vanilla would be pretty to use as well.
2. Using Night of Navy card stock cut 2 mats, 5 1/4" by 2". Use snail adhesive, adhere one piece to the mat on the left side of the card and the other to the right side of the card. There should be a boarder around the card and down the middle.
3. Using Pressed Petals DS paper cut 2, 5" x 1 3/4" pieces. Using snail adhesive adhere one to each of the Night of Navy mats on the front of your card. There should be a boarder of night of navy around the DS paper.
4. Cut a piece of night of navy card stock to 4 1/4" x 2". Using the Big Shot and the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, emboss the Night of Navy card stock.
   Using the Linen Thread wrap it around the embossed piece 3 times and tie a small knot in the back. Spread the 3 layer apart.
   Using Tombow glue, center the embossed piece and glue to card front.
5. Using the Flowering Foils Specialty DS paper cut out one of the flowers that has two roses attached together.
   I then colored the cut out. I highlighted the leaf veins with Dark Old Olive and colored the rest of the leaves with Light Old Olive.
   Next I colored the middle of the flowers with Dark SO Saffron.
   Then I moved on to the flowers. I outlined the flower petals and veins with Dark Night of Navy Stampin Blend marker and then colored the rest with Light Night of Navy. I did one or two petals at a time so that the Dark Night of Navy would be wet and colors would blend.
   I used Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the flowers to the front of the card.
6. Card inside:
   Cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock 5 1/4" x 4" and adhere to the right inside of the card using snail adhesive.
7. Cut a 5" x 3 3/4" piece of WW card stock.
   Cut a single rose from the edge of the Flowering Foil DS paper and color (the same as the flowers for the front of your card).
   Using Tombow glue center flower and adhere to the bottom of the WW piece.
8. Using the Make Today Amazing sentiment from the Rise and Shine Stamp set, stamp the sentiment in the center of the WW piece using Night of Navy Ink.
   Adhere this piece to the Night of Navy mat on the inside of your card.
   Your beautiful card is now finished.

Hello ! Welcome to my very first Blog. Please bare with me as I learn how to blog. I hope you have as much fun making this card as I did.
I have wanted to make an impossible card for some time now and was a little intimidated by the instructions. I found a YouTube video and discovered the card is very easy. I thought it would be the perfect card to use the Ornate Suite, Strong and Beautiful sentiments and Beautifully Braided punch.

Project Recipe:

1. Template Included.
   Cut card base at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" out of Crushed Curry paper.
2. Score at 2 1/8 " on the (4 1/4" side).
   * See template
   ** There is a mistake on the template it states score at 2 1/4" it should state score at 2 1
   /8"
3. Cut a line on the 5 1/2" side at 2 3/4" to the score line. The cut will be in the middle of the long side.
   Turn card to other side and cut two lines at 1 1/4" to the score line at both ends.
   *See template
4. Take the card base and face the side with the single cut towards you and with your right hand flip the right hand side of the card down and towards you.
   I then cut the flap that stands up down to 2 1/2" x 1 1/2"
5. Using the template cut two mats out of the Ornate Garden Specialty DS paper.
   Using Tombow glue, glue the DS paper mats to the card base.
6. Cut a 1" by 5 1/4" piece of crushed curry card stock. Use the Beautifully Braided punch and punch out the braid.
   Using Tombow glue, glue braided piece to front of card about 1/2 inch from the bottom of the card.
7. Stamp three of the daisies from the Ornate Style stamp set onto white card stock.
   Color the middle of the daisies with the Light Soft Suede Stampin' Blend Marker. I outlined the daisies with Dark SO Saffron and colored the rest of the flower using the Light SO Saffron. (I now wished I would have colored the daisies with the Crushed Curry Marker).
   I highlighted the veins in the leaves with Dark Granny Apple Green and colored the rest of the leaf with Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend markers.
   I then hand cut out the daisies and leaves.
8. I used the small stylus on the Take Your Pick tool and the Silicone Craft Sheet and I rubbed the stylus over the dailies and leaves to give them some curl.
   Use a dimensional and adhere one daisy to the lower left corner of the card. Use glue dots on the two remaining daisies and leaves and cluster near the first daisy.
9. Stamp Happy Mother's Day from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set on a scrap piece of Crushed Curry card stock using Black Memento Ink. Fussy cut out the sentiment and sponge edges with Crushed Curry Ink, Adhere to card diagonally using mini dimensionals.
10. Cut a 2 7/8" x 1 1/8 piece of Crushed Curry card stock and round the corners. Sponge edges with Crushed Curry Ink. Stamp sentiment from the Strong and Beautiful stamp set, in the middle using black Memento Ink.
11. Using the Big Shot die cut out the 2" x 3 1/2" ornate layers frame, using Ornate Garden DS paper.
    Glue the sentiment to the above DS paper.
    Then use dimensionals to adhere to the 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 tab that is standing up on your card.
